Kerri Anne was born and raised amongst her Rogers whānau in Rotorua.

Her background is primarily in Treaty settlement negotiations, and she has worked as a consultant on locally significant kaupapa such as Rotorua Reorua, the Te Arawa Health Strategy and her company Kaupare has been instrumental in the roll out of Aotearoa Reoua (Bi-lingual towns and cities) as well as other planning and strategy work for iwi entities. She previously held a role as Tauwharenga (General Manager) of Rotoiti 15 and currently works as Kaiwhakahaere for Te Kāhui Raraunga – an entity established in 2019 to advocate for iwi Māori in the data and digital sovereignty space.

Outside of her mahi for her iwi, Kerri Anne is māmā to three beautiful tamariki, wife to Michael Hancock (Te Arawa, Ngāti Rongomai, Ngāpuhi, Tauranga Moana).
